Casting decisions are made by a small number of people. Audiences decide what actually lands. They don't always agree, and nobody shows you the difference.

Nobody can pay to rank higher or get shown first. Your scores come from people watching your reel, and nothing else.

18+ only. Your email and phone stay private and contact happens on the site. Industry judges are verified by hand. We will never ask you for money.

Questions
Is it really free for actors?
Yes. Actors never pay to post a profile, be rated, or be seen, and there is no paid upgrade that changes your ranking. Paying to be discovered is the barrier Breakout exists to remove. The site will be supported by advertising and by tools for industry members, never by actors.
When does it launch?
We're gathering the first group of actors and founding judges now. Everyone on the waitlist gets an invitation when profiles open.
How do you verify industry judges?
By hand. We check credits (IMDb, festival listings, theater programs, a production website) before anyone gets an industry badge. Anyone can say they're a producer; we look.
Is it safe?
Breakout is 18+ only. Your email and phone number are never shown on your profile, and contact happens through the site, not directly. If anyone ever asks you for money for an audition, that's a scam. Report it to us.
What do I need to join?
A short demo reel or self-taped monologue on YouTube, and a few sentences about yourself. If you don't have a reel yet, join the waitlist anyway. We'll share tips for a simple self-tape.
